Frequently asked questions
How do I control my rider?
Drag left or right anywhere on the road to move across the pack. Press and hold to push harder. Swipe up to launch an attack out of the wheels. No settings or buttons are needed — it works as soon as you touch the road.
What is a waaier / echelon, and why did I get dropped?
When the wind comes from the side, the pack fans out diagonally towards the sheltered edge of the road. If you're not far enough forward to win a spot in that fan, you're left exposed in the gutter and quickly lose the wheels in front. Move up earlier and hug the sheltered side before the wind hits.
Does progress save automatically?
Yes. Your season, results, rider ratings and settings are all saved on your device after every race, with nothing for you to do. You can wipe everything and start over from Settings → Reset career.
Do I need an internet connection?
No. Premie Ronde works fully offline, including the daily Koers van de dag, the season calendar and your results book.
Why does the app ask for the camera or photo library?
Only if you choose to add a picture to your rider's licence card in the Renner screen. If you skip that, neither permission is ever requested.
How do I turn off notifications or sound?
Open Settings inside the app to toggle music, sound effects, haptics and the daily reminder independently — or manage notification permission from the iOS Settings app under Premie Ronde.
